SPost13 is a collection of postestimation commands for regression models which takes advantage of Stata's powerful margins command and factor variable notation. Stata's margins does the heavy lifting, but mchange, mgen, and mtable make margins a much more effective for data analysis tools. SPost13 is supported in Stata 12 and 13, with some features unavailable in Stata 12. They should work in Stata 11, but we cannot provide technical support if you encounter problems. SPost13 replaces the popular SPost9 commands. If you use the SPost9 package, please read this carefully. If you use these commands, please cite: J. Scott Long and Jeremy Freese. 2014. Note to Stata 11 and 12 users: You should download the spost13_do12 package with sample do-files, not the spost13_do package. It removes commands that required Stata 13 to run.
July 15, 2015: fitstat provided incorrect estimates for some statistics when the estimation sample was limited by things such as perfect prediction. This has been fixed. In addition, the precision of estimates has been improved.
September 05, 2014: In some cases margins reports the wrong N after svy estimation. The over() option is ignored by marigins when at(x=gen(..)) is used. Both errors in margins can affect results from m* commands. 2015-07-15 This is fixed in the current update to Stata.
September 08, 2014: On page 17, section 1.6, end of first paragrah is missing the sentence "These do-files assume that you are running Stata 13.1. If you are using Stata 12, install the
spost13 _ do12 package instead."
