The m* commands use results from margins. Accordingly, the m* commands work if the estimation command you are using works with margins. Suppose your want to mtable with results from mycommand. Enter help mycommand and click on the blue postestimation link for details on whether margins works and what quantities it predicts. m* commands will also work with estimation commands written by users as long as they are compatable with margins. 2014-09-23
